“We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been—a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power… Someplace where we can be free."

Our

Organizational

Structure

Camp planners, also referred to as organizers are individuals who support the Reclaiming Principles of Unity, have attended camp or participated with a camp affiliated circle, and who are willing and able to consistently participate in camp organizing meetings.

Our Planning Campers group can be made up of between 5 to 13 members. Vermont Witch Camp also has four registered officers: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.  Officers do not need to be organizing campers.

We currently do most of our work online and via video or phone conferencing once a month.

We make overall decisions regarding the philosophy, practices and policies of VWC. We need one third of the organizers to make up a quorum.

Our work is divided into broad area work groups such as Communications, Camp Content, Teacher Selection and Support, Work Exchange/Financial Aid, Budget and Finance and At-Camp.
