“We are all longing to go home to some place we have never been—a place half-remembered and half-envisioned we can only catch glimpses of from time to time. Community. Somewhere, there are people to whom we can speak with passion without having the words catch in our throats. Somewhere a circle of hands will open to receive us, eyes will light up as we enter, voices will celebrate with us whenever we come into our own power… Someplace where we can be free."

Camp Roles
Camp Planners/Organizers are campers who volunteer their time and talents to plan, organize, and facilitate Vermont Witchcamp. This work is a year long process and a multi-year commitment.
Ritual Facilitation Team (RFT) are an Organizer selected group of skilled priestxes who are responsible for planning and executing most of camp’s evening rituals and to energetically connect us to the theme/story of camp and the subsequent arc of the week.
Path Teachers are an Organizer selected group of skilled teachers who are responsible for teaching magickal and energetic skills to campers during the course of the week that align with the theme/story of camp.
“On” Organizers are available at camp to answer questions and convey announcements to the community. Organizers take turns being “On” throughout the week. “On” organizers wear gold lamé scarves or similar so you can find them throughout the day.
Other roles at camp include our work exchange positions and volunteers for camp events and spaces. Work exchange positions include shuttle drivers, accessibility coordinator, meal/kitchen coordinators, kybo coordinators, and post-camp cleanup coordinators. Volunteer roles that do not offer work exchange but are fulfilling in their own rite are Temple of Love stewards, Arts Mahal stewards, Magickal Swap shop stewards, Magickal Faire coordinators, Talent Show coordinators and more.
Vendors and Bodyworkers: The Magickal Faire offers an opportunity for campers to vend their wares like clothing, jewelry, herbs, art, and services. Many vendors prefer checks or cash in US currency please. Some vendors may be able to accept cards or digital payment.
