Inanna

Join us as we embark on a journey of spiritual and personal growth: a journey that will open us, stretch us, empower us, transform us. An intensive, not a festival, this week is an opportunity to deepen our connection to the sacred, to learn and enrich personal and magical skills through pathwork, small group sharing, workshops, community service and ritual.

This year the stories and songs of Inanna will be the theme underlying our work at camp. In Sumerian mythology Inanna, known as the Queen of Heaven and Earth, was responsible for the growth of plants and animals, for fertility. She became the goddess who ruled over the sky, the earth and the underworld – the goddess in all her aspects. For those who would like to do some reading in preparation for this adventure with Inanna, we suggest the book Inanna: Queen of Heaven and Earth by Diane Wolkstein and Samuel Noah Kramer. Paths this year will be an imaginative, eclectic, delectable mix reflecting the passions of the teachers offering them.
